Details

Castings are manufactured in approximately 80 grades of carbon and alloy steel in accordance with ASTM, DIN, PN, GOST standards. Other standards including clients' special requirements can be supplied. The steel for the castings is produced in electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces.

Castings are produced by machining and hand moulding methods:

Machine moulding

Moulding boxes at dimensions 800x800x300/2x and unit weight of castings from 0.5Kg to 100Kg
Moulding boxes at dimensions 1400x800x350/2x and unit weight of castings from 40Kg to 350Kg
Automatic moulding - moulding boxes at dimensions 1250x800x300/2x and unit weight of castings from 0.5Kg to 100Kg

Hand moulding

Wet, skin-dried and dried moulds, overall dimensions of castings maximum 3800mmx3000mmx1000mm and piece weight from 25Kg to 6000Kg.

To meet the mechanical properties the castings are heat treated - normalizing, or quenching and tempering, or solution heat treatment.

Casings are supplied either rough machined or finished condition.

Castings are checked for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions and internal defects in accordance with the required standards. Third party inspection by major authorities is regularly performed and mills certified by major classifying societies.
