Application

Used in water heaters, refrigerant condensers, air conditioners, refrigerant evaporators, oil coolers, process coolers, air coolers. The fins are integral with the tube with an enhanced outside surface area. The integral structure gives excellent thermal conductivity, strength and anti-vibration fatigue property.

Low integral fin tubes

Technical Details

Formation of fins - by cold rolling the outer surface of a plain tube to produce helical type fins having an increased outside diameter to the original tube. Internally the tubes are normally plain. Internal fins can also be supplied. Ends can be supplied plain or tubes can be fully finned. The enda of the tubes can be belled with an outside diameter the same as the finned diameter. This type of end reduces the wall thickness of the plain end.

Materials - copper, copper alloys, aluminium

Fin pitches 10 and 11 fins per inch.

Fin heights 3mm to 10mm.

Tube diameters 10mm to 38mm.

Finned tubes are supplied as finned.

Finned tubes can be supplied according to the dimensions shown in the following tables. Sizes not shown in this table can also be supplied. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your requirements.
